About the company
Renew Performance was started in the early summer of 2001. When Tool & Die maker Dan Grimm decided it was time for a change. So, at the roll of a dice, Dan gathered his plans to open his own business. Fall of 2001 in a small two-room building located in downtown Greenville Renew Performance was born. Renew Performance’s goal was to achieve what so many others couldn’t. A sustainable fabrication shops! Dan’s whole life he has tinkered around fixing and finagling with equipment. When he ran into an issue of not having the appropriate part, he would just create a new part and cut it out and continue on with his creation. Dan knew just enough to be dangerous and set out on a new mission. A mission that ultimately led to a succession in the CNC world. In 1982 Dan was hired in a Greenville tool and die as an apprentice. While he was working at Greenville tool and die he attended Montcalm Community College for Machinest Never going to school or taking any time of technical classes, Dan instead spent countless hours learning Gcode – and learning the ins and outs of the ever-expanding world of CNC. As his client list grew so did Renew Performance. Today Dan’s company operates in a 5620 sq ft facility on the eastside of Greenville. With the help of a full-time employee and two part-time employees our new building allows us to expand our skills in CNC Milling, Fabricating and Welding to help meet our customer’s needs while providing good quality product.
Dan and his crew have many years of experience in CNC Milling, Fabricating and Welding. No job is too small many of our walk-in customers have ask if we can help them by welding an old patio chair, repair a lawn mower deck or remove a broken bolt. Bottomline…We strive in making sure we produce good quality product while meeting our customers’ demands. When you work with Renew Performance you are supporting a locally owned and locally managed store. You are supporting someone’s dream and passion and when you mix those two things together only good things can come from it.
